Port Mulgrave – A small village which once was a most thriving community in the late 1800's, locally mined ironstone was shipped regularly from the then pier. The village of Port Mulgrave lies close to the path of the Cleveland Way and overlooks the scars (rock outcrops) of the shore, a National Trust site can be found below Lingrow Howe on Rosedale Cliffs.
